On a rural two-lane highway how many cars in a row may you pass legally? It is LEGAL to pass as many cars as can be passed safely while not exceeding the posted speed limit. The left side of the road must be clearly visible and free of oncoming traffic for a sufficient distance ahead to complete the maneuver safely. You must also return to your lane before coming within TWO HUNDRED FEET of any approaching traffic. Use extreme caution. Very dangerous!

private driveway without stopping first? Yes, it is LEGAL to enter a public street from a private driveway without stopping first IF you first YIELD to ALL cross traffic - pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists.
